Join us on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM for a program on The Wee Wah Beach Club and how it ties into things here in Chester, particularly those people who had homes in Tuxedo Park that also had places here in Chester

We will explore the Geolet Family, who owned and built the Glenmere 3,066-acre estate, Richard Delafield, who previously owned Brook Farm and their part in the building Chester’s 1915 Erie Station.  We will also discuss Peter Lorillard, who was buddies with Frank Durland, who lived in the Yelverton Inn, sold properties in Tuxedo Park.

This event is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served.

This event will take place at the lower level of the Chester Public Library, 1784 Kings Highway, Chester, New York.
